IP-guard Basic Management is a required module for IP-guard system. It records all basic information of endpoint computers.

Basic system control

• Blocks Control Panel, Task Manager, Registry Editor (Regedit), Command Prompt, and ActiveX
• Blocks Computer Management including Device Manager, Disk Management, Local Users, and Group and Service Management
• Prevents modification of Network Properties and IP/Mac Properties
• Hides My Network Places

Basic information logging

• Gathers detailed system information of endpoint computers, including IP addresses, operating systems, login accounts, current status, etc.
• Records active and idle time.

Basic event logging

• Tracks basic events: system startup/shutdown, user logon/logoff, and patch scanning

Complete policy logging

• Records details of all policies implemented by admin computers

Real-time alert and warning

• Customizes warning messages
• Displays alert messages when:
• System information changes
• Network configuration changes
• Hardware/software asset changes
• An unauthorized removable USB device is connected to a network computer
• Sends warning messages to users violating basic policies
